십장생도 병풍
불로장생을 원하는 인간들의 공통된 꿈을 그림으로, 일-죽-운-수-석-록-구-학-송 등
열가지 장수무처럼 장수, 기원, 사상을 신선사상과 관련하여 표현하였다가 병풍으로 꾸며 주로 환갑의 장수 축하용 병풍으로 사용하였다.

and the mushroom of eternal youth, are painted to express the wishes for longevity and many fortunes.
During the Choson dynasty, the king used to give this kind of painting to his retainers as a gift on New Year's Day.
They were also widely used by the upper class as decoration pieces.
The paradise, where the immortals are said to live, is painted in bright and luxurious colors as
a fantastic and idealistic world.
